The European Federation of Biotechnology is the non-profit association of all national and cross-national Learned Societies, Universities, Institutes, Companies and Individuals interested in the promotion of Biotechnology throughout Europe and beyond.

Young European Biotech Network (YEBN)
The Young European Biotech Network (YEBN) is a non-profit organization with the aim to strengthen the cooperation in science between European countries. We promote a responsible and dynamic community of young scientists and increase the competitiveness of the European Life Science sector by offering career and information services through a network of associations and individuals engaged in Life Sciences. YEBN links people within its network and to the outside world, both through its member database and through specific networking events such as conferences, meetings, or workshops.
YEBN is an Associated Section of the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB). 
The Irish Section of the YEBN was founded in Feb 2005 by Kevin Turner.
